The Game Postpones the Release of ‘DRILLMATIC’ Album
The Game is known for delaying the release of his albums at least a couple of times before making them available to the public.
With his latest album DRILLMATIC – Mind vs. Heart, he continues the old trend.
The rapper is furious that his legendary debut The Documentary was left off of Rollingstone’s list of the 200 best hip hop albums of all time, and understandably so.
“How is “The Documentary” not on the list for 200 Greatest Rap Albums Of All Time?” he tweeted, expressing his displeasure with the publication.
On the back of my first album, I carried an entire coast for 20 years.
I don’t count since I don’t walk red carpets, dress up, smile, or pretend to laugh at brunches?”
@RollingStone how is “The Documentary” not on the list for 200 Greatest Rap Albums Of All Time ? I carried an entire coast for 20 years on the back of my 1st album. Cause I don’t walk red carpets, play dress up, smile or fake laugh at brunches I don’t count ? #Drillmatic July 1st

He then went on to say that his new album, Drillmatic, will be released on July 1st.
He said, “#Drillmatic July 1st.”
He had previously stated that the album, which is executive produced by Hit-Boy, will be released on June 17th.
Drillmatic will have 30 songs, split into two parts: “Mind” and “Heart,” according to the Compton rapper.
