The rapper was due to play at the Governor’s Ball celebration in New York City, but he was detained first and is now being held by the NYPD on various firearms charges.
According to TMZ, Roddy and his group were detained at a security checkpoint for the festival taking place this weekend at the CITI field in Queens.
Officers discovered a loaded pistol inside the vehicle he was driving to the show, according to law enforcement sources.
There were 9 rounds of ammo and a big capacity magazine, according to reports.

Four counts of criminal possession of a firearm, possession of a large capacity ammo feeding mechanism, and unlawful possession of that equipment were filed against the rapper and two others.
Before Roddy was supposed to take the stage, the festival announced that he would no longer be performing.
