Xavier Omär has released a new song off his upcoming EP, which he teases.
Xavier Omär has a lengthy history of producing great R&B.
Omär has been dropping gems throughout 2017, including “Sweet Holy Honey” with Sango and “Wifeable,” a collaboration with Masego.
He released if You Feel in 2020, which included Masego, Quinn Barlow, Mereba, and Jae Stephens and received a lot of positive feedback.
Omär is currently working on a new EP, b l u r r, which will be published on July 22.
He’s already released “Feelings 4 You” from the new album, and now he’s back with “Tarantino,” a slow-burning song about hitting your target.
Omär describes the song as “extremely intimate.”
The singer/songwriter explained, “This song is about my Dad attempting to get at my Mom in college while she was already engaged.”
“I wanted to put myself in my Dad’s shoes and portray the narrative in a modern way since I could never image having that type of self-assurance.”
Sango and Stwo produced the track, and Omär’s vocals are a perfect match for it.
His luscious harmonies pierced right through the noise.
