Larry spoke about money in his latest release, which had a 70s-style sound.

Larry Eugene Hendricks III, known professionally as Larry June, is a 31-year-old rapper from San Francisco, California. He is best known for his use of unusual and old-school sounds, his soothing tone that flows well across tracks, and his ability to spit relevant and encouraging rhymes. He’s staying on that path with his latest track.

Larry released his new single “Private Valet” yesterday (July 15). With its use of high-pitched instruments and a tinge of soul and jazz underneath, the two-minute track has a 70s atmosphere. Larry began the song by offering some advise to his listeners “If you can’t keep your cool, don’t call yourself a man. Simply put, this is a game for you.”

Larry rapped throughout the song about all the riches he had amassed over his life. Speed boats, heated toilet seats, Lamborghinis, and mink coats were among the items he mentioned as the result of his income.

The musician also released a music video for the song, in which he freely travels about the city. It has received over 100,000 views in just 24 hours.
