Steve Lacy Give You The World

Kanye West called Lacy’s new album “Gemini Rights” “wonderful,” and called the 24-year-old “one of the most amazing people on the globe.”

It was a busy weekend in the hip-hop and R&B industry, with new albums and singles from CMG, Latto, Lloyd Banks, Rowdy Rebel, and Travie McCoy, to mention a few.

Another notable release was Steve Lacy’s Gemini Rights album, which Kanye West lauded as a “wonderful” piece of work.

The Compton native rediscovers himself after suffering with the misery of heartbreak on the 10-track album, and on the album’s closing, “Give You the World,” he sings about being ready to open up and be vulnerable again.

“If you want me to, I’ll share my heart / I’m not anxious, I’ll tell the truth,” Lacy reveals on the first verse. “You know, if you feel about the same way, yeah / I’d feel so out my mind, could be dangerous.”

Days before Gemini Rights was released on digital platforms, Steve released “Sunshine” in cooperation with Fousheé – listen to it here, and stream “Give You the World” on SAHipHopZA below.
