IDK W13 (Free Slime/Drive)
The Maryland rapper and producer is back with some silky smooth new music.
IDK’s fans were overjoyed when he launched his Simple album with Kaytranada earlier this summer. The rapper and producer has released new songs in the form of a two-pack titled W13 before the season ends.
On the opening track, “Drive,” the recording artist reveals his feelings for the one he cherishes over a jazzy beat. IDK sings, “I’ll take my time for your love / For your kiss, I’ll sacrifice what’s mine.”
“Free Slime” focuses on ideals of freedom that are evolving in the real world, particularly during these trying times. “Gotta live it up since I might die today / Everyday vacation, I’m on vacation,” the boundary-pushing artist reflects.
While IDK has been releasing new songs on a regular basis this summer, he has previously indicated that he does not compare himself to his peers. “I’m competing solely against myself.” And I whoop my a$$ every time.” He made the announcement in a news release.
