Siphiwo Nzawumbi, best known as Spitch Nzawumbi, is a popular South African radio and TV presenter. Nzawumbi is a qualified broadcast journalist who obtained a degree in Broadcasting and Journalism from Walter Sisulu University. At a young age, Nzawumbi was inspired by radio presenters and decided to be one when he grew up. When he was in Grade 12, he visited a close radio station, which further inspired his passion for the profession. Nzawumbi began his career as a host of the Consumer Affairs Show, Yilungelo Lakho, at SABC1 in 2013 when he was 24. He has been in the broadcasting and journalism field for over a decade. Spitch Nzawumbi also works for the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies (DTPS) in South Africa.
He also presents at uMhlobo Wenene FM, co-hosting Sijik’ilanga with Luckeez Matyolweni. The show is based in Cape Town, uMhlobo Wenene FM’s second-biggest home. I am happier, feel lighter, and enjoy physical activity than before. Did I mention how obsessed I am with my smaller waist? It’s truly an amazing space to be in.”
He also spoke about realizing that he needed a change, “have always tried short-term ways of losing weight. I would get on diets and quick fixes, then fall off the wagon in no time. My determination to work on my habits, to see the transformation I want to see started sometime in 2022. When I was putting together my vision board for this year, my health was top of the list. I vowed to step out of my comfort zone and dare myself to do the things I had never done before, to see the results I had never had before. My eating habits and lifestyle needed serious auditing.”
