Snoop Dogg’s purchase of Death Row Records was undoubtedly a watershed moment in hip-hop history, but the California native enraged many of his fans when he chose to remove several iconic albums from DSPs, claiming on Drink Champs that “those platforms don’t pay.”   But that doesn’t mean the Doggfather hasn’t left us with anything to see.  Since his takeover, he’s released two excellent compilation albums, the most recent of which being a Summer 2022-themed tape. Butch Cassidy, Tha Eastsidaz, October London, Champ Medici, LaToiya Williams, Jane Handcock, and Uncle Chucc (among others) are all included on the album, but our favorite tune is “Everybody Watching” featuring Raphael Saadiq and Miguel, which is number five on the tracklist.
