Zodwa Wabantu accused of promoting “animal cruelty”

Zodwa Wabantu accused of promoting “animal cruelty”: followers which later got her in a ugly spot.

On Tuesday, she shared a video of a man poking a monkey and hitting it over the head while the monkey tries to sleep, and some followers accused her of promoting “animal cruelty”.

However, Zodwa isn’t moved by the critics words but the video has been taken down.

One of the critics said: “I understand that you didn’t capture this but please don’t promote it. You just recently issued an apology to the LGBTIQ+ community, pleading ignorance. Please don’t put yourself in that position again. This is cruel,” Mfundo Mabalane wrote.

Zodwa who believed the video was actually a joke and nothing serious responded to the critics:

“They should go to Google and YouTube and take it down from there,” she wrote.
