TIDAL Introduces ‘Music School,’ A Learning Center For Genres, Instruments, and More.
TIDAL has always pushed to push things forward since entering the streaming landscape in the mid-2010s, and they continue to do so today. TIDAL has announced the introduction of Music School, which they describe as “a new learning hub that will give users with fascinating playlists inspired by specific genres and geographic areas.”
Essentially, they’ve introduced a slew of playlists that make it easy for their customers to brush up on their music expertise and explore new genres. For example, their Hip-Hop For Beginners playlist includes Biggie’s ‘Juicy’ and Lil Wayne’s ‘A Milli.’ They also provide introductions to various geographical regions, which is always useful, especially given the current state of music. There are playlists for learning about Canada, Brazil, Sweden, Wales, Poland, and many other countries.
Aside from regions and genres, the new center includes playlists for instruments, styles such as chopped & screwed, and a section dedicated to exposing kids to various genres.
This is a fantastic idea, and we wouldn’t be surprised if other streaming behemoths took notice. View an MPC playlist below.
