Penelope Cruz’s protection of her children from social media elicits a reaction from Nandi Madida.
Nandi Madida has turned to social media to express her displeasure with Spanish actress Penelope Cruz’s decision to shield her children from social media.
Cruz admitted to utilizing less social media in a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning.
She expressed regret for the younger generations who are unaware of social media’s toxicity.
Cruz also stated that she shields her children from social media due to her own mental health concerns.
Nandi expressed her support for her on Twitter, saying that she is concerned that these toxic platforms do not have a significant impact on many children.
She lamented how fortunate she was that there was no such thing as social media when she was a child, and today she believes that parents must safeguard their children from the toxicity that comes with all platforms.
“I was fortunate that there was no social media throughout my upbringing,” Nandi wrote.
I’m really worried that these sometimes toxic platforms don’t have an impact on children; as a parent, all you want to do is protect your kids from the toxicity that comes with your twitters, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms.”
