While speculations about the Migos’ breakup continue to make news, Offset has filed a lawsuit against Quality Control Music for control over his solo career.
According to TMZ, the rapper has filed a lawsuit accusing Quality Control Records of breaking a pact they struck in January 2021. Offset claims he negotiated his solo deal and “paid well” for his artist rights, but QC is refusing to honor the agreement.
Offset recently released a new single called ‘54321’, which was produced by Baby Keem, and Offset claims that QC is attempting to claim it as their own, which he describes as “aggressive.”
‘Set is now working on the follow-up to his Father of 4 debut from 2019. This Friday, he will release his new single ‘Code,’ featuring Moneybagg Yo, through Motown Records, the label he signed with for his solo career.
