Nompilo is dead
Nompilo Dlamini has been announced dead.
The socialite who battled cystic fibrosis for years passed away on Monday, 30th of October.
Nompilo’s death was announced on social media; it was revealed that she died in her sleep.
“Dear friends and family…Nompilo passed peacefully in her sleep last night. As a family we’re still digesting the news and will update you about funeral arrangements in due course,” reads a post on her Instagram account, @young_cfer.
The 29-year-old was highly supported by South Africans, including celebrities like Cassper Nyovest and Somizi Mhlongo.
Tributes pour in for the late fighter on social media platforms.
Businessman BI Phakathi wrote: “I just lost my sister Nompilo a true warrior. You fought this battle for everyone. I knew you will go someday but I was not ready to take the pain of losing you. Well done my sister you did it and won our hearts.”
