Renowned rap icon Melle Mel has unleashed an explosive response to Eminem, dropping a scorching diss track that’s currently making waves across the hip-hop sphere. The untitled track made its grand debut on YouTube this Tuesday, simply going by the moniker “Melle Mel’s Response to Eminem’s Latest Diss.”
In a fiery lyrical onslaught, Melle Mel fires shots at Eminem with lines like, “The Top 5 is cap/ You the piss that’s on the floor in the elevator of rap/ Why you ducking on The Game when you shit on my name?/ Why they put Pee-Wee Herman in the hall of fame?” The track further escalates with the verses, “I would give you a pound, but I’d break your hand/ I got a lawyer so white, he will take your land/ Yo, check your man, come and look at your friend/ ‘Cause I think that Eminem is popping pills again!”
Melle Mel’s retort comes in the wake of a prior declaration in March, where he implied Eminem’s success in hip-hop could be attributed to his racial identity. Eminem, however, responded with his own set of rhymes on Ez Mil’s “Realest,” throwing a verbal punch at Melle Mel.
While the hip-hop community eagerly awaited Melle Mel’s rejoinder, the delivered diss track, unfortunately, falls somewhat short of expectations. Take a listen below and form your own judgment on this electrifying exchange of lyrical prowess.
