Mampintsha’s mother and Babes Wodumo are once again adversaries.
Babes Wodumo and Zama Gumede, her mother-in-law, are now bitter rivals.
Mampintsha claimed the two had reconnected with a sweet photo on his Instagram page a few months ago, but the truce was short-lived as the heated fight escalated.
It was claimed last week that the West Ink CEO dumped his mother, Zama, and other family members after she complained to various media outlets about not being compensated for appearing on the couple’s reality program.
The singer commented on her WhatsApp status about why she dislikes Zama, according to Daily Sun, revealing the hostility between the Gqom queen and her mother-in-law.
“Ingakho umamezala ngingamthandi, ilamasimba awenzayo, nxa lo mama une drama,” which roughly translates to “This is why I despise my mother-in-law.”

Zama also commented, claiming she despises Babes and does not recommend her to Mandla as a bride.
“I read her WhatsApp status and she isn’t one of my favorites.”

She went on to say, “Babes… is not wife material.”

Mampintsha must be protected from her.

Zama and Babes had broken up and Zama does not want her to attend her funeral.
Mampintsha’s mother also expressed her regret for being unable to attend her grandson’s birthday celebrations.
“I adore my grandson and am sorry for missing his birthday celebrations, but his parents are nasty.”
“Babes has consistently refused to bring Sponge home, so we should have completed the isiphandla greeting ceremony and burned impepho for him by now,” Zama stated.

Zama believes Babes Wodumo’s apologies from months ago was a ruse to get her to join the reality program.
