Flvme on why SA hip hop isn’t growing – “It’s been the same people for years”

Flvme talks about the purposes for the hindered development of hip hop in south africa.

Throughout recent months, sa hip jump has been ousted by amapiano class, and bunches of pundits have fingered rappers over this issue.

Taking to twitter on thursday, flvme initially accused rappers who have gone through years in the game, and declining to let new faces and gifts dominate.

“sa hip hop will keep growing slow as long as we keep the same faces … it’s been the same people for years now !!!”

he further said one reason why the class isn’t developing is on the grounds that individuals (mzansi) don’t invest wholeheartedly in their specialists.

“south africa has the best hip hop scene . It’s jus not growing because of how i we look at it . We don’t take pride in our artists . Niggaz jus wanna break us down instead of lifting us up,” he added.
