The African Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA 2023) was a night of celebration and recognition for the incredible talents of African creatives. Held at the prestigious Eko Hotel on May 20, 2023, this 9th edition of the annual event was a star-studded affair.
Dazzling appearances were made by some of the biggest names in the African entertainment industry, including the likes of Tunde Bakre, Beauty Takura, Tsatsi, Phyna, Tacha, Mercy Eke, and many more. It was a gathering of luminaries who have shaped and contributed to the vibrant African entertainment scene.
One standout of the evening was Kunle Afolayan’s masterpiece, the Anikulapo movie, which took home the most coveted awards of the night. A testament to Afolayan’s exceptional production skills and storytelling prowess.
