Mario received some not-so-subtle flak for collaborating with the divisive Canadian.
Mario is ready to liven up the summer with some new singles following his successful performance on the Verzuz stage versus Omarion. Soon, we’ll hear the R&B sensation collaborate with Ty Dolla $ign, but for now, he’s released “Main One” with Lanez.
“Ooh, pipe down, you too dangerous / Yeah, you got horns on your halo,” the 35-year-old sings on the first verse. “So horny, what a angel / I’m blessed inside my bed.”
Though he received some controversy after revealing his collaboration with the divisive Canadian earlier this week, Mario has received a lot of praise today for “Main One,” with some fans expressing their delight at seeing the Baltimore native having such a great redemption arc.
According to Billboard, the recording artist has been scheduled and busy recently; he’s expected to participate in the Jackie Robinson Celebrity Softball Game this weekend, and at the end of the month, he’ll be performing alongside Omario and Pleasure P at the MGM National Harbor outside Washington, D.C.
