Wade protests in her teaser, prompting some to accuse her of profiting from the abortion debate. “Y’all moan about female rap missing substance but then claim I’m ‘capitalizing’ when I talk about sh*t [emojis] help me understand???” said Latto in response to her criticism.
On the tune, Latto spits bars about men not owning women’s bodies and appears to fire a few bullets at her detractors. “You sexualize lesbians, yet you entertain me / They interact, then gossip live from they mom basement,” she raps. Latto also discusses gender roles, monogamy, and men who stand up to abusers.
