Hit-Boy Stillmatic
Hit-Boy hopped on a beat made by one of his regular collaborators.
Hit-Boy has already established himself as a legend in the music industry.
A$AP Rocky’s “Goldie,” Kendrick Lamar’s “Backseat Freestyle,” and Pusha T’s “My God” are among his credits.
He’s been on a roll lately, producing much of King’s Disease, King’s Disease II, and Magic alongside Nas.
So it’s no surprise that Hit-Boy chose to rap over Nas’ “Stillmatic (Intro)” when he was asked to freestyle on The Bootleg Kev Podcast.
Despite his reputation as a producer, Hit-freestyle Boy’s is confident and filled with quotable lines over its nearly 3-minute duration.
Hangmen 3 provided the beat, which is as good as it gets.
Hit-Boy is no stranger to the microphone.
Since 2012, when he launched his debut solo album HITstory, he’s been releasing songs with his own performances.
Hit-Boy has had a very productive year.
Bulletproof Soul, a collaborative album with Pacman da Gunman, was released in March.
He’s also a big part of The Game’s upcoming album, which will feature more than 30 tracks.
