He’s not stopping anytime soon, and this time, Hit-Boy returns with his own song.
The rule of Hit-Boy has been enormous. Only in the last few years has the megaproducer piled up honors, including Grammys for his work on Nipsey Hussle and Roddy Ricch’s “Racks in the Middle” and Nas’s King’s Disease, and his faultless work has made him one of Hip Hop’s most sought-after performers. He worked on Beyoncé’s global hit Renaissance and, most recently, The Game’s Drillmatic: Heart vs. Mind, which featured Hit-Boy as an executive producer.
Hit-Boy returns with his track “Fire Proof” on this New Music Friday (August 19). The song begins solemnly before he changes things up, speeding the pace to a more summer-friendly tempo.
