DJ Khaled’s “God Did” features “Use This Gospel (Remix)” by Kanye West and Eminem, with production by Dr. Dre and The ICU.
Who knows if Kanye West and Dr. Dre’s highly anticipated joint effort will ever be released, but it appears that they’ve stored a large amount of music in the vault. The remix of “Use This Gospel” from DJ Khaled’s God Did provides an insight into their joint endeavors. Kanye West enlists the help of Eminem, who carries the brunt of the record on his shoulders, with production from Dr. Dre and The ICU. Em discusses his battles with addiction and temptation while raising his girls, and compares his own run of issues to Kanye’s. “My name is Yeezus, and I’m F’d up.”
“Look, produced by Dr. Dre and ICU, this is a gift, this is a gift from Kanye, Dre, and Eminem,” Khaled said of the duet to Zane Lowe. “This is a gift to the entire world, not just to me. This is a present. Zane, this is a gift from God, produced by Dr. Dre, ICU, Kanye West, and Eminem. I need to be clear, as if to say, ‘What the f**k?'”
