Calvin Harris released an outstanding project called Funk Wave Bounces Vol. 1 in 2017. This album was brief yet packed with amazing summer bangers, including “Slide” with Migos and Frank Ocean. It was probably the album of the summer in 2017, and fans have been pushing the producer for a Vol. 2 for years. Vol. 2 will be released on August 5th, and today, Harris released a new track called “Stay With Me,” which features Halsey, Pharrell, and Justin Timberlake.
“Stay With Me” has powerful guitar chords and groovy bass rhythms, as one would expect from a summer Calvin Harris hit, and is supplemented by catchy hooks and verses from the featured performers. Everyone on this song works well together, but Pharrell appears to steal the spotlight.
