Palesa “Pali” Tembe is a South African is a South African actress and radio presenter. Some people only know her as Nelli Tembe’s sister, but there is more to this infectious personality. From when she was young, she knew that the world of presenting was where she belonged and she wasted no time leaping into that orbit.

Growing up, two women inspired her: her mother Nomvuzo and the American entrepreneur Oprah Winfrey. Ms Winfrey represented the peak that Palesa dreams to achieve in her career, and she is pretty well on her way.

She auditioned for Presenter Search season 3, where she impressed the judges and got their nods, eventually snagging a role on Afternoon Express. In that role, she sees herself as not just a presenter and interviewer but a teacher as well. South Africans would tell you that they have been learning from her ever since she got the role – not bad a once naive girl with a dream.

It is unclear exactly when Palesa was born, but she gave a clue in a Facebook post. In that post on November 30, 2020, she had noted that her 30th birthday would be “tomorrow” – which translates to December 1. Following the same calculation, she is currently 32 years but will be 33 on December 1.

Siblings

The Afternoon Express presenter has several siblings, the most famous of them being Anele “Nelli” Tembe, who reportedly jumped to her death from the 10th floor of a hotel in Cape Town in 2021. It is one tragic death that has refused to go away, and Palesa often recalls it with great agony.

In one of his tweets, he noted that he has been an entrepreneur since the age of 17 and is delighted to share his experiences with members of the public. He already had a son named Aiko before his marriage to Palesa.

The couple had a memorable proposal, complete with a helicopter ride, which they froze in time with snaps shared on social media. That moment remains a subject of conversation long after it was enacted.

House & Cars

Palesa Tembe came from a wealthy family, so it is understandable that there should be great interest in the house she lives in and in the cars she drives. She shared a splendid apartment with her parents at some point but now lives with her husband, Veli Ngubane. There isn’t much information about the house, its location, and what it looks like.
