Zahara to be homeless soon
Zahara might be homeless soon as her home will reportedly be auctioned due to unsettled debt.
According to blogger Musa, Nedbank will sell the singer’s Ruimsig home in Roodepoort by the 7th of May 2022.
She’s yet to settle R1.9 million loan for which she secured surety with her townhouse, and her account is said to be 6 months in arrears to a total of R17 665.40.
“Zahara says she couldn’t pay during the hard lockdown, but she’s been making up payments over the past months. She paid R100 000 in December and followed that up with another R80 000 in February, paying the account in advance,” Musa tweeted.
The tweet has garnered lots of empathy from social media users but the singer is yet to confirm the story.
