Woman’s decomposed body found in KZN bush
The body of an unknown woman has been found in a dense bush.
The badly decomposed body of a 35-year-old woman has been found in a sugarcane field in the Mtwalume area on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast.
The body was found naked.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Thembeka Mbele confirmed this discovery on Tuesday afternoon.
“We can confirm that there is a body that was found”.
She said that, despite how bad the body decayed, they were still able to identify the body as that of a female.
This is is the fourth body to be dumped in the area since the start of the lockdown.
Police say they suspect that a serial killer on the loose could be behind the murder of these victims.
“An inquest docket has been opened for investigation. This is the fourth case that we are investigating”.
