Reasons Why Sho Madjozi’s Own It Remix Was Taken Down
Reasons Why Sho Madjozi’s Own It Remix Was Taken Down: Sho Madjozi took to Twitter to explain why “Own It Remix” was taken down after it was completed. She explained that after she was nominated for BET awards alongside the Nigerian artiste Burna Boy, he asked Stormzy‘s team to take down the song seeing that both featured artistes were competing for the same award.
The John Cena hit-maker went on to explain that she might have made the wrong assumption but that’s unlikely because the song was taken down two days after the BET award nomination was announced. This happens to be a shocking revelation to their fans who have been itching to her the music.
For those asking where the #Ownitremix is, after I got nominated alongside him for BET Best International Act, Burna boy asked Stormzy’s team to take down the song immediately😅.

This world is full of bullies. If I leave any message at all from the life I’ve lived, I hope it’s to not be discouraged and to not be intimidated. To stay loving, kind and honest in the face of cruelty.

I could be wrong. Maybe he has other reasons. But BET announcement was on June 15th and by June 17th I was getting complaints from fans saying they can’t find it.
Either way, spirits up ✨ pic.twitter.com/QU66iICG1D
