Pearl Thusi has been trending since morning on social media for her controversial response to Khanyi Mbau’s post about her dad’s burial service.
Khanyi’s dad died on Sunday, and the details about her father’s burial was shared on Instagram, reacting to the post, Pearl said, “Hectic”.
Lots of social media users found that response weird and not cool, hence, she got dragged and condemned.
Even Khanyi’s brother, Lasizwe questioned her comment.
Taking to Instagram comment section again, the thespian justified the use of her word saying: “I interviewed Khanyi a few weeks ago and we spoke of her father quite intensely. This is why for me this is hectic. My father died this year. Hectic. So much is happening and I care about Khanyi… she knows what we’ve discussed. But you can all carry on…”
Upon seeing that social media users are yet to stop the hate, she then goes on to respond using Cassper Nyovest’s single off his Any Minute Now album, which is Egyptian Cotton.
