Nas recently linked up with Mary J. Blige for “Thriving” and now he teases The Lost Tapes II.
The New York rapper took to his Instagram account this afternoon with a short video showing him holding a broken cassette tape and wrote a message saying:
“👀 Lost Tapes II.”
Nas announced his plans to launch The Lost Tapes II when he started Mass Appeal Records in 2014. The first edition came out in 2002 made up of songs he recorded while making I Am… and Stillmatic.
The project will follow last year’s Kanye West-produced album NASIR, which debuted in fifth on Billboard’s Top 200 chart.
