In an unexpected turn of events, the renowned Open Mic Producer and trusted confidant of Makhadzi, Mr Brown, has been deported to Zimbabwe due to the expiration of his work permit and overstaying in South Africa.
As he made his return from Botswana, Mr Brown was halted at the border gate, denied entry into the country. He expressed his disappointment, revealing that Open Mic Productions had initially promised to resolve the immigration issues but later withdrew their support, citing financial constraints.
Sharing his side of the story with Zimoja, Mr Brown explained that he had overstayed and was supposed to file an appeal. However, due to the label’s reluctance to cover legal expenses, he was left with no choice but to return home.
