1. Clean it right away
Cooking marinated foods in an Airfryer often leads to a mess, this is because the oil and marinade sticks to the bottom of the tray and dries up in the process of cooking. Well, the more you procrastinate, the messier it gets. The best way to clean it is by plugging off the Airfryer and wiping it off with a dry cloth once the appliance cools down.
2. Remove odour
To remove the smell you can dip the cloth in lemon water, squeeze it and then wipe off again and let it dry completely before using it again.
3. Wash it off
Do not use harsh scrubs to clean off the mess from the removable components. Always use soft sponges to clean the trays. In fact, to remove the stuck food from the tray, soak it in lukewarm water with lemon slices, salt and dish wash. Then rinse it off well.
4. Remove the stuck food particles manually
In most air fryers food stuck in the trays can be a big issue, the easiest way to deal with this is by using a toothpick or wooden skewer and poke out the food. Later, either wipe it off or wash the removable parts separately to get a perfectly clean tray.
5. Clean the exterior
Cleaning the mess from the outside of the device can be done with a damp cloth, but make sure you do this only when the appliance is plugged out. This will help in cleaning the outside of the device without any hazard.
