Young Thug’s friends and supporters have been doing their part to commemorate the rapper’s big day, even if he won’t be able to celebrate his latest trip around the Sun the way he intended before getting detained earlier this year.
In honor of the Young Stoner Life Records founder’s 31st birthday on Tuesday (August 16), we’re highlighting one of his biggest singles from 2019’s So Much Fun – “Hot” featuring Gunna.
Wheezy created the hit song, which finds the labelmates and long-time pals talking about their opulent lifestyles and rising stature in the music industry.
“I’m sick and tired of these young n*ggas actin’ like they’re firin’, tellin’ these lies / Actin’ like they’re the ones who created this and they get all the drip from my guys,” the birthday boy rapped on his verse, also boasting about “[whipping] up a new Chanel Patek” and purchasing a “Cartier bag for the Cartier thot.”
