It was an emotional second when Tiwa Savage heard Brandy’s vocals on her melody, “Someone’s Son.” The track is featured on the Nigerian artist’s as of late released EP Water and Garri, a five-track project that features looks from Brandy, Nas, and others. She wrote in the caption that it hit her “like a gospel melody” and the video proceeds to show the two ladies crying tears of bliss at the collaboration.
In a new meeting with Allure, Tiwa, who has been hailed far and wide for her commitments to the Afrobeats classification, talked about remaining consistent with her authentic self—an excursion that has frequently been loaded with twists, turns, and a few second thoughts. She admitted that hen shee was more youthful, she had a go at bleaching her skin.
