Steve Lacy releases a new track and reveals the title of his upcoming album.
Over the last few years, Steve Lacy has only made a few appearances.
Since 2020’s The Lo-Fis, he’s made a few cameos on other artists’ albums, but fans have been waiting for a new release from The Internet band member.
Lacy’s latest single, “Mercury,” was released today.
The song is an homage to Brazilian bossa nova from the 1960s, and it’s the first taste of what we may expect from him in the future.
His first solo single since 2019 is “Mercury.”
He also announced his upcoming album, Gemini Rights, which will be released this summer.
