Aminé joins REI AMI for their genuinely charged and melodic new coordinated effort “Do It Right.”
Maryland melodist REI AMI has gotten back with her new single “Do It Right,” which discovers her tapping in with Aminé for the personal and intelligent two part harmony. Over a vibey instrumental energized by the twang of guitar harmonies, REI’s breezy vocals open up as the bass slides in with the general mish-mash. “It’s tied in with all that it feels to be seeing someone,” the artist, in an authority official statement. “It’s about when you’re so profoundly infatuated with someone you sort of lose a feeling of yourself and furthermore the psychological clash of being in a harmful relationship.”
While he’s absolutely equipped for carrying an enlivened presence to any track he favors, Aminé selects to downsize things for this one, coordinating REI’s contemplative energy. “I’m moving up this J, cause I don’t do pipes,” he reflects. “It’s a desolate day, it has me stuck around evening time/this ain’t only a stage, I feel it in my bones and all/made me feel like I require liquor.” Despite the blustery outside, there are unquestionably hazier topics at play, and it’s positively intriguing to perceive how everything meets up.
