With a runtime of two minutes and 38 seconds, “Ready My Mind” is a short, yet sweet contribution from the two craftsmen that is loaded up with the soul of young sentiment. Despite the fact that his stanza isn’t close to as long as Yung Bleu’s, Lonr’s. snappy snare is the thing that truly drives the melody, and the dreary call to “flee” and “let completely go” is shortsightedly charming.
