So In 2011, only a couple a very long time after he was delivered from jail, Lil Wayne bounced on Wiz Khalifa’s ‘Dark And Yellow’ while it was as yet available for use and he committed it to his number one group, the Green Bay Packers. They were made a beeline for the Super Bowl at that point, against the Steelers amusingly enough. It was a genuine Wayne remix as in he flipped a lot of Wiz’s lines from the first and put his own turn on it. You can hear it out underneath.
Today. Wayne delivers another tune devoted to the Packers with a similar name, over a similar beat. The group requested that he make the new song of praise after the last one was so effective almost ten years back. On the making of the melody, Wayne said “I need them to hear it and be prepared to go through a divider… I put a great deal of energy into it. I chipped away at it for 3 days and I generally don’t do that.”
.@LilTunechi on the theme song he made for the Packers playoff run:
"I want them to hear it and be ready to run through a wall. Me and Coach Matt been cool. I put a lot of time into it. I worked on it for 3 days and I usually don't do that." pic.twitter.com/yd5IkvKSD0
