A break from her standard R&B-jazz-like vibe, “Caroline” ventures into the domain of a more customary vocalist musician sound — marginal society. Parks’ delicate, warm, ethereal vocals laying on top of guitar plays that sound almost obtained from ’90s elective stone, are past fantastic and nostalgic.
