Vic Mensa - I TAPE

Vic Mensa’s new venture “I TAPE” highlights commitments from Zacari, Jeremih, Chance the Rapper, Wyclef Jean, and that’s just the beginning.

In the wake of dropping “Asylum” with Wyclef Jean and Chance the Rapper, Vic Mensa has been consistently gathering speed for this second, as he has at last delivered I TAPE, a seven-track project that continues in the strides of the previous fall’s V Tape. All things considered, I TAPE highlights commitments from R&B and Hip-Hop heavyweights like Zacari, Jeremih, Chance the Rapper, Wyclef Jean, DIXSON, Tish, Eryn Allen Kane, and Wyatt Wadell. Sonically, it’s one of the Chicago craftsman’s most perfectly created activities to date, and in commonplace Vic style, there is a lot of something worth mulling over for audience members to bite on.

All through the seven-track project, Vic Mensa mixes fiercely fair thoughtfulness with convincing moving messages, making I TAPE a compensating tune in for both close adherents of the Chicago craftsman’s excursion and the individuals who might be feeling sad because of the squeezing social issues of today. From degenerate police, which Vic vigorously alludes to as “Hoelice,” to being caught in the criminal equity framework, the Roc Nation craftsman meets up on a great deal of issues influencing Black people group in his city and past. “MOOSA” is one of I TAPE’s champion cuts, and its outro — which flaunts the incredible verses “Continue existing, continue opposing/Keep on battling” — best catches the cheerfulness that is so present on Vic’s amazing new venture.
