“My life changed drastically when ‘Nevermind’ was released and blew up all over the world,” says Dennis Lloyd to Apple Music about the 2016 song that made him a worldwide sensation. “On the last tour in 2019, I felt like something had cracked. It took me three months to get back to myself. I felt something inside me was broken. In that moment I realized I needed to take some time to myself, to heal and fix what’s broken.” Now, five years later, he is finally ready to release his debut album. “For the first time in years I had time to understand what had happened in my life, to ask hard questions and to deal with my thoughts and my deepest fears,” he says of the 14 songs that make up Some Days. “I hope this album helps [others] as much as it helped me.”
